Bird forest training path (Nagykanizsa, Zalaegerszeg)
Our Bird forest training paths draw your attention for the typical bird species of the region, for their special habits and surprising qualities in Nagykanizsa, at the Boating Lake, in Zalaegerszeg in the Lower Forest. The former is 1400 metres; the latter is 1200 metres long. Information boards demonstrate the most interesting characteristics of our different bird species and you can observe the special den types (type A, B and C) appropriate for the different bird species as well on both training paths. And who can we meet in the forests in Zala County? Chaffinch species, diurnal predator birds and nocturnal hunters, woodpeckers, wood nuthatches and common tree-creepers, crows, thrushes, doves and swallows, and last but not least herons and storks.
