Hunter House in Sohollár
The hunter house of the Forestry Company in Zalaegerszeg which was renovated entirely in 2000 provides accommodation for 14 people and is situated far away from any inhabited areas, between the settlements of Bak and Pölöske, in the picturesque Sohollár-Valley.
The park in the surrounding of the hunter house which was established in 1972 is the venue of the central opening ceremony of the Hunting Season in Zala County every year. There are a small fishing pond and a wooden chapel in the valley which hosts the traditional event of the county hunters’ day, the Hubertus-Mass.
