Tourist Hostel in Csömödér
We welcome our guests at the stop of the forest railway in Csömödér, ten kilometres from Lenti! The hostel provides comfortable accommodation for 46 people with 4, 6 and 18-bed-rooms furnished with bunk beds with separated bathrooms with a shower and a toilet; two bathrooms belong to the bigger rooms.
The guests can cook in the fully equipped kitchen (cooking plates, dishwasher, microwave oven, fridge etc.) however, if it is required, you can order a meal three times a day. A special unhindered bathroom and toilet were built for disabled people.
The dining room for 46 people can be used as a communal hall as well; there is a room for relaxing next to it with table soccer, some bean bag chairs and a large-screened TV. The garden welcomes guests who would like to have an enjoyable recreation with an open-air fireplace, benches and tables, a football pitch, a small playground, a barefooted path and a sports field. There is a snack bar close to the tourist hostel; its opening hours and its offers satisfy the demands of both the hostel guests and the railway passengers. The free car park can receive buses as well and it is close to the hostel. Guests who are eager to take a trip can have the possibility to visit the sights of the region by the forest railway or the lovers of cycling can explore the surroundings by bicycle rented at the place.

You can get there on public road, on M7 motorway, leaving the motorway at the Letenye exit, in the direction of Kistolmács- Bázakerettye- Lispeszentadorján-Páka, leaving the road at the Tornyiszentmiklós exit, in the direction of Lovászi-Szécsisziget, or from the main road 75 through Hernyék.
The Tourist Hostel can be accessed by the train running between Zalaegerszeg-Rédics, as it is situated 200 metres from the Csömödér-Páka MÁV-Railway Station.
